报告人简介

Eiji YashimaEiji Yashima received his B.S. (1982), M.S. (1984), and Ph.D. (1988) degrees from Osaka University in the group of Prof. Yoshio Okamoto. In 1986, he joined Kagoshima University, working with Prof. Mitsuru Akashi as Assistant Professor. After spending one year at UMass with Prof. David A. Tirrell, he moved to Nagoya University and was promoted to a full Professor in 1998. He was the project leader of the ERATO Project (JST) on “Yashima Superstructured Helix” (2002–2007). He received the Wiley Polymer Science Award from the SPSJ in 2000, the Japan IBM Science Award in 2001, Molecular Chirality Award in 2005, Thomson Scientific Research Front Award in 2007, the Award of the Society of Polymer Science, Japan in 2008, Chirality Medal in 2013, and the Chemical Society of Japan Award in 2015. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, an associate member of the Science Council of Japan, and a senior program officer of Research Center for Science Systems (JSPS). His current research interests are in the design and synthesis of helical molecules, supramolecules, and polymers with unique structures and novel functions.

Zeyuan DongZeyuan Dong graduated in chemistry from the Jilin University in China. He received his PhD degree in 2006 from the same university. Then, he came to Katholieke Universiteit Leuven for a postdoc research from 2007 to 2008 in Belgium. In 2009, as a Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellow, he worked in Ivan Huc research group at IECB in Bordeaux, France. In 2011, he joined the faculty of state key laboratory of supramolecular structure and materials in Jilin University as an associate professor.

Lixin Wu: Lixin Wu received a B.S. from Heilongjiang University in 1982 and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Jilin University in 1993. He then joined the faculty and became a full professor in 2000. He has also been a senior postdoctoral fellow (JSPS) at Hokkaido University and a research associate at the University of Hong Kong. He has received a number of honors, including Cross-Century Talent of MOE, Government Grant of China, and Changbaishan Distinguished Professor. His research interests focus on self-assembly and supramolecular chemistry of polyoxometalate-based complexes, the structural basis of cluster–biomolecule complexation, and functionalization of supramolecular polymers.

Jihong Yu: Jihong Yu received her Ph.D. degree from Jilin University in 1995, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow first at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and then at Tohoku University (Japan) from 1996–1998. She has been a full Professor in the Chemistry Department, Jilin University, since 1999. She was awarded the Professorship in 2007. Her main research interest is in the rational design and synthesis of zeolitic functional materials. She serves as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Chemical Science.

Ming Wang: Ming Wang was born in 1981 in Suihua, Heilongjiang. He received a B.S. degree in Polymer Chemistry and Material in 2000 and a Ph. D. in Polymer Physics and Chemistry in 2010 from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences. His postdoctoral research at Texas State University (2013.01-2016.07) and Nanyang Technological University (2011.2-2012.11) are about supramolecular chemistry and materials chemistry. He was selected as the fourth “1000 talents young program” in 2016 and joined the faculty of Jilin University as a full Professor in July 2016.

Takuzo Aida: Takuzo Aida was born in 1956. He received his B.S. degree in Physical Chemistry from Yokohama National University in 1979 and Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Tokyo in 1984. He then began his academic career at the same university and developed precision polymer synthesis with metalloporphyrin complexes. In 1996, he was promoted to Full Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. His research interests include (1) electronic and optoelectronic soft materials, (2) bioinspired dendritic macromolecules, (3) molecular and biomolecular machines, and (4) biorelated molecular recognition and catalysis. He is now the director for Riken Advanced Science Institute. He has received many awards including the Wiley Polymer Chemistry Award, IBM Science Award, Nagoya Medal Award Silver Medal, Tokyo Techno Forum Gold Medal, Arthur K. Doolittle Award, Inoue Prize for Science, Molecular Chirality Award, Award for the Contribution to Coordination Chemistry, American Chemical Society Award in Polymer Chemistry, and Chemical Society of Japan Award.
