报告人简介：

        Prof Yulong Ding, founding Director of UoL (UniversityofLeeds) – IPE (InstituteofProcess Engineering) Joint Institute for Energy Storage Research, and Director of UoL’s Institute of Particle Science & Engineering, was first trained as a thermophysicist and then a chemical engineer. His research has been multidisciplinary,across chemical engineering, chemistry, energy engineering and bioengineering. His current research interests cover both fundamental and applied aspects, with the fundamental research focusing on multiphase transport phenomena across the length scales, and the applied research concentrating on separation enhanced chemical research processes, new energy storage technologies, and nanostructured materials for heat transfer, energy harvesting and storage applications.He has filed 15 patents, published > 340 papers with >150 papers in peer reviewed journals (H-Index = ~32). His work on energy storage has made major contribution to the prestigious 2011 ‘The Engineer’ Energy & Environmental and Grand Prix awards, and 2012 Rushlight Energy Environmental and Power Generation and Transmission awards.
